Mindfulness and self-compassion both lower stress levels and help put your body and mind in a state where healing and repair can happen.
They both also have been shown to improve a sense of well being, reduce depression and anxiety. When combined with stretching, it allows you to listen to your body without pushing it to do too much too soon.
The first two meditations are a way to practice mindfulness and self-kindness. They do not involve moving but pave the way to use mindfulness while moving.
The next three audios talk you through using gentle movement combined with mindfulness and self-compassion. They work well when you need to help your body get moving at the beginning of the day, reduce stress in the middle of your day and/or unwind at the end of your day.
